Kelly Schuster is a Vancouver cinematic boudoir photographer creating intimate, empowering boudoir sessions for people of every gender, age, shape, and size. Because the most important relationship in any of our lives is, ultimately, the one we have with ourselves. Learning to love who we are, and to embrace the beautiful body that carries us through life, is the most powerful form of love there is. A boudoir session is an invitation to give yourself grace and kindness, to slow down, and to remember that your body is worthy of being celebrated and nurtured. No - hair and makeup services are not included within the collections, but I can provide recommendations for local artists on the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver.
Yes. Every image in your boudoir gallery is thoughtfully edited, with natural retouching included so you look and feel your best while still looking like yourself. This is intimate portraiture, not just pretty pictures — my editing leans into the mood of your session, whether that's the warm, timeless feel of vintage boudoir or the rich shadow of a cinematic style, always enhancing your natural beauty rather than erasing it.
I do not offer a client closet, but my home studio does include props such as mirrors, antique brushes, rose petals and candles.
Only with your explicit permission. Your privacy is taken seriously, and your boudoir photos are never shared anywhere without your written consent. Many clients keep their gallery completely private, while others are happy to allow select images to be featured — the choice is always entirely yours.
Absolutely. Partners are always welcome, and couples boudoir is a beautiful way to celebrate your connection together. Whether you'd like a male boudoir session as a gift, a couples shoot, or a full bridal boudoir experience, we'll build it around what feels right for you.

Most boudoir sessions are booked one to three months in advance, especially during busy seasons and for bridal boudoir timed around a wedding. Reaching out early gives us the most flexibility to plan your styling, choose your preferred Vancouver studio space, and secure a date that works for you.
You'll get a first look at a selection of your favourite images soon after your session, so you don't have to wait long to see yourself in a new light. Your full, carefully edited gallery follows, with timelines outlined in your contract so you always know what to expect.

Living in Ontario I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with Kelly when she was here in Ontario for a wedding. I drove almost four hours there and back for the most incredible portrait / boudoir session. I was going through one of the lowest points of my life and this session helped pull me out of that. I can’t thank her enough for helping me in more ways than words can describe. I’ve since hired Kelly for my upcoming vow renewal and we are travelling to BC just to work with her again. As a photographer myself I cannot recommend Kelly enough. She is a super woman who will make you feel incredible. And her work is phenomenal!! One of my favourite Canadian photographers.
