I literally can't say enough amazing things about Kelly. She was our wedding photographer in 2021 and my Husband and I were in awe when we received our album. Not only is Kelly one of the nicest people you'll meet, she is a true artist! Our wedding day was rainy and overcast and she made the photos look like editorial spreads that should be in an art gallery! Kelly makes you and your guests feel at ease and captured so many beautiful memories that we'll cherish forever. Working with Kelly was a delight from start to finish. I did a boudoir session with her in January 2021. I never provide unedited or RAW files to clients. Much of what makes my work unique is my editing process, so it is important to me that my clients receive a polished, finished product.
It depends on the type of shoot and package, but generally:
*Wedding clients receive 60-100 edited images per hour of shooting
*Lifestyle clients receive 45 photos per hour of shooting
*Boudoir and Portrait clients receive a set number of photos based on the package they have selected
All of my sessions are very collaborative in nature. I of course have some amazing locations in my back pocket, but your input is very important to me so we often come up with the locations together!
Such an important question! The styling of your session is a huge part of creating the overall vibe of your photos. I have a Styling Guide available for free download on this site (can also be found here), as well as a helpful Pinterest Guide.
You've just finished your shoot and you are soooo excited to see your images and then you realize you have to wait ages to see them. That's no fun! For this reason, I always deliver a selection of sneak peek images within 48 hours of your session while you wait for the remainder of your gallery to be ready.
My average turn around time for full galleries is 4 to 6 weeks, with the exception to 8 hour or longer weddings, for which the turn around time is 6 to 8 weeks.
Let's be honest, living in B.C. if we could only shoot on sunny, rain-free days we would be pretty limited! I, for one, LOVE the moodiness of rainy, overcast days and I make a concerted effort to work with whatever weather situation we are given.
Exceptions do exist, for example if you booked an outdoor boudoir session and would be freezing that day, or if the extreme weather could damage my camera gear. That being said, I've only ever rescheduled 2 sessions due to weather.
As you will see from my instagram and website, I have never "niched down" within my work and I continue to shoot a variety of subjects.
